Arizona State had its final split session Thursday night as the newcomers (and select veterans) practiced inside the Verde Dickey Dome.

Coach Todd Graham's opening statement to reporters: "From where we were in the spring to where we are now is probably the biggest jump in my opinion since I've been here. At least that's what I feel right now. We'll see how it goes (Friday) when we put on pads."
