Last year the ASU men's basketball team qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014. Coach Bobby Hurley is hoping to build upon that momentum and is optimistic because of the addition of several players who will give the Sun Devils a presence in the paint they haven't had in years past.
Unfortunately some of the players he is counting on have been slowed by injuries, though two of the three are close to a full return.
"It's so early. Obviously we're not taking any chances and we're being cautious," Hurley said after practice earlier this week at Weatherup Center.
