Arizona State defenseman and co-captain Josh Maniscalco signed a three-year, entry level contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday.
During the 2019-20 season, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound d-man was tied for sixth in points among defensemen nationally.
He had 11 goals and 32 points. Maniscalco played 71 games throughout his first two collegiate seasons with 52 points, which included 15 goals and 37 assists.
“In just two short years, Josh had a major hand in bringing Sun Devil Hockey to national relevance,” said coach Greg Powers in a release from Sun Devil athletics.
