One of the many gifts of the late Bruce Snyder was his ability to wrangle a unique mix of personalities and unite them for a common cause. In 1996, that resulted in a conference title and a visit to the Rose Bowl for Arizona State.
Both worked under Snyder at ASU and have long and distinguished careers. Many of those personalities will be in the Valley on May 6 to take part in the Bruce Snyder Memorial Golf Tournament at the Foothills Golf Club in Ahwatukee. Proceeds will benefit the academic needs of student-athletes at Phoenix College, which was fortunate to land the highly regard Dan Cozzetto and Robin Pflugrad as its head coach and assistant head coach, respectively.
