After an up-and-down junior season, Savon Goodman is leaving the Arizona State basketball program, a mutual decision between the 6-foot-6 forward and coach Bobby Hurley. As a graduate transfer, Goodman will be eligible to play immediately next season.
In 28 games and six starts, Goodman averaged 9.6 points and a team-high 6.4 rebounds in 21 minutes this past season. He shot 55 percent from the field but just 46 percent from the foul line.
"We wish Savon the best of luck in his future and appreciate his efforts over the past year," Hurley said in a statement.
