He enjoyed the recruiting process but didn't feel he needed to stockpile offers or take unnecessary visits just to stroke his own ego.
He had his mind made up long before his senior year at Corona del Sol started. He wanted to play in his hometown for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
Pearsall is now living that dream.
He wasn't thinking about getting playing time as a true freshman, but has made cameo appearances in all six games as a receiver and kick return specialist.
