TEMPE, Ariz.--D.J. Foster, the Arizona State University wide receiver who announced in December that he was returning for his senior season as a Sun Devil, has been named a 2015 Preseason Third-Team All-American by Phil Steele's College Football Preview, the publication announced Monday.
Foster, who played running back for his first three years under Head Coach Todd Graham, returns as the only active Football Bowl Subdivision student-athlete to account for more than 1,500 career rushing yards and 1,500 career receiving yards. Foster led the Sun Devils in 2014 with 1,081 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. He also finished second on the team in receiving with 62 receptions for 688 yards and three touchdowns.
