Tight end Jalin Conyers announced he will enter the transfer portal via social media for his final year of eligibility.
The 6-foot-4, 270 pound tight end recorded only 30 catches for 362 yards and no touchdowns through 11 games in 2023. Despite being the starting tight end, Conyers saw most of his action coming from gadget plays and direct snaps through the ‘Hallcat’ formation, which became a feature in the offense against UCLA, Oregon and Arizona.
He carried the ball 22 times for 92 yards and a touchdown in his final season, his longest run coming of 39 yards coming from the 59-23 loss to Arizona in the Territorial Cup.
