The Arizona State football team was on the road for the last time in the regular season, and it was dealt a 35-34 loss by Oregon State Saturday night at Reser Stadium, marking the Sun Devils' fourth straight loss.
ASU avoided that huge early deficit that had been problematic in past losses as the contest was even 14-14 after one quarter, while the first half ended with the Beavers up 28-21.
The biggest lead by Oregon State came at 35-21 late in the third quarter but ASU rallied back and was in striking distance after a 12-yard scoring pass from Jayden Daniels to Brandon Aiyuk made it 35-34 with 1:40 left.
