Continuing its pattern of nabbing players from east of the border, ASU landed a commitment from 2016 ATH Jeremy Smith. Smith made his announcement Wednesday on Twitter that he'll be suiting up for the Sun Devils after high school, making him the seventh verbal commitment the Sun Devils have secured so far towards their 2016 recruiting class.

Smith, out of Missouri City in Texas, enters his senior season as the starting quarterback for Fort Bend Marshall High School, having thrown for 15 touchdowns and 791 yards in 2014.
