Coach: Chip Long, fourth season.
State of the position: ASU's tight end production took a step back last season. The group contributed just 29 receptions for 292 yards, down from 40 and 596 in 2013. The Sun Devils lost De'Marieya Nelson (undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns) and Brendan Landman (transferred) from last season's team. Nelson is a significant loss, simply because he did everything.
