The Sun Devils are now through 12 of their 15 spring football practices after working out Friday and Saturday nights at the Verde Dickey Dome. They have two sessions next week to be followed by the annual spring game on Thursday,

ASU football coach Herm Edwards has seen a bit of a spark in his team the last two nights. He chalks that up to good old-fashioned competition.
The Sun Devils have worked on situational plays and the coach started keeping score with the defense getting credited for its holds. Naturally that has done wonders to bring out the competitive nature of all.
