Arizona State Sun Devils head coach Herm Edwards said redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Marshal Nathe has medically redshirted due to a back issue on Tuesday, according to Doug Haller of azcentral.com.

Nathe, who redshirted his freshman season, did not see action in 2017. In 2018 spring practice, he typically lined up on the second-team offensive line as a center and did so as late as Friday evening.
