Arizona State’s road non-conference game with the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) on Sep. 12 has been scheduled to be played at Allegiant Stadium, the newest NFL home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Rebels will play six of their seven home games at the new venue, and the matchup with ASU is the team’s second home game of the year.
UNLV put out a release detailing the news earlier this afternoon, and the plan to schedule the game at the bigger venue was first detailed in the Las Vegas Review-Journal. UNLV’s home stadium for football since 1971 has been Sam Boyd Stadium.
