That's the message coming out of Arizona State football Monday, two days after a 21-3 loss at Utah that likely puts the Pac-12 South title out of reach. No. 24 ASU (5-2, 2-2 Pac-12) now is in a three-way tie for second in the South behind No. 12 Utah and USC (both 3-1 Pac-12) with five games remaining.
What matters now is avoiding back-to-back losses — ASU had two of those last season — which will require winning Saturday at UCLA (2-5, 2-2). To that end, 65-year-old coach Herm Edwards is in sync with his young players on quickly turning the page from Utah.
