Sun Devil sophomore diver David Hoffer qualified for the 2015 AT&T National Diving Championships at the 2015 USA Diving National Preliminary Zone F Championships over the weekend at Uytengsu Aquatics Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Hoffer competed in two events, the 1-meter springboard and 3-meter springboard against 14 other divers. His score of 359.55 was good enough for a second place finish in the 3-meter while his 333.10 mark was good enough for third place in the 1-meter.
Hoffer, the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year and two-time Pac-12 Diver of the Month, will travel to Orlando, Fla., on August 1 to compete in the AT&T National Diving Championships against some of the best divers in the world in one of the most prestigious events in diving.
