Many were wondering which ASU men's basketball team would show up - the one that knocked off No. 1 Kansas or the one that lost at home to Princeton. There were more bad moments than good as the Sun Devils struggled in a 96-86 loss to visiting Utah on Thursday in the Pac 12 opener for both teams at Wells Fargo Arena.
It was the last five minutes of the first half and a poor second half that doomed the Sun Devils.
Head coach Bobby Hurley compared this loss to last year when his team went 12-0 in non-conference play but struggled when it came time for Pac 12 action.
