When the Pac-12 basketball season will start remains to be seen but the Arizona State program got some good news as transfer Holland Woods has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and will be eligible for the upcoming season.
Woods has one season of eligibility left but needed a waiver because he was not a graduate transfer.
Woods, a 6-foot-1 guard, played the past season at Portland State University where he averaged 17.7 points, 5.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds as a junior. He shot 41.5 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from the 3-point line in leading the Vikings to an 18-14 record.
