Four-star class of 2018 Finnish guard Elias Valtonen committed to Arizona State on Friday morning, according to Evan Daniels of scout.com.
Valtonen, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound shooting guard, hails from Helinski Basketball Academy in Finland. He was rated a four-star by 247Sports.com, and the No. 1 shooting guard in Finland (28th in the world.)
Valtonen had originally visited Arizona State on Oct. 8, before he ventured to Illinois on Oct. 10, and then committed to ASU three days later.
In the 2016 U18 FIBA European Championship tournament, Valtonen helped Finland to an eighth-placed finish, averaging 7.
