Bobby Hurley is close to completing his Arizona State men's basketball staff for the 2019-20 season.
Hurley recently hired Eric Brown, who was previously at UNLV and Long Beach State, and said Tuesday he is not far off from making a second hire.
His returning assistant is Rashon Burno, who like Hurley came to ASU in 2015.
"There's no real rush on my end," Hurley said in a summer media session. "Coach Burno and I do so much of the work on the floor in workout anyway. I'm not the type of head coach that has a coffee on the sidelines and lets his assistants do all the work on the floor.
