The Arizona State men's basketball program headed into the summer in need of more front court talent and it has landed that with the addition of Ukrainian power forward Pavlo Dziuba.
Dziuba, 6-foot-8, averaged 13.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 blocks for the Barcelona entry in the FIBA European Championship Division B.
The Sun Devils, 20-11 in the shortened 2019-2020 season, had been looking for help in the paint after junior Romello White declared for the NBA draft, then subsequently opted to transfer to Mississippi.
Coach Bobby Hurley earlier also added 6-foot-9 center Chris Osten out of Lee College.
