ASU basketball adds third player in as many days in Boston College transfer Jay Heath

The reinforcements keep coming for he Arizona State basketball program and the latest one comes in the form of Boston College transfer Jay Heath.

He is the third pickup in as many days for coach Bobby Hurley, who a day earlier landed Robert Morris transfer A.J. Bramah, a 6-foot-7 forward.

The 6-foot-3 sophomore guard averaged a team-high 14.5 points along with 3.1 rebounds in 19 games for the Eagles. He shot 41 percent from the field, 35 percent from long distance and 78 percent from the free-throw line. He had 10 games in which he scored 25 points or more with a season-high of 28 in a 93-64 loss to Florida State.
