Catcher Lyle Lin was the next Sun Devil to be drafted in the 2019 Draft. Lin, a First-Team Pac-12 selection, went 422nd overall to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
A now-14th round pick, this is the third time Lin has been drafted in his life. Out of JSerra Catholic High School, he was chosen by the Seattle Mariners in the 16h round. As a draft eligible sophomore, he went in the 29th round last year to the Houston Astros.
Lin debated singing with the Astros for awhile before making the decision to return to school for his junior year.
