The amount of arms on the Sun Devils’ staff caused plenty of concerns as the team headed into the season. For good reason, with only 12 arms on the roster, and 11 available pitchers with sophomore right-hander Colby Davis, who has yet to make an appearance this season due to injury, depth can cause issues for the Devils in a week where they have five games.
However, the five-game week started off well for the short-handed Arizona State (12-0) Sun Devils. If the arms preform as well as they did in their 6-4 win over Cal State Fullerton (5-5) on Tuesday, the concerns will begin to minimize.
