Costly penalty
Arizona State was flagged for roughing the holder penalty on a 34-yard field goal attempt by Colorado with a little more than 30 seconds on the clock. The penalty, which resulted in a first down, allowed the Buffalos to run the final seconds off the clock after taking a knee.
