CARLSBAD, Calif. - Sun Devil Women's Golf fell just short of advancing to the Match Play portion of the 2025 NCAA Women's Golf Championship, held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.
No. 8 Arizona State (+16/1168) missed out on a spot on the Top-8 by just one stroke, as the drama came down to the final set of holes. Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye's team battled back to surpass eighth-seed South Carolina to temporarily occupy a Match Play position, but were unable to withstand a late push by No. 10 Virginia that allowed them to post a +15 mark.
