Arizona State Vice President for Athletics Ray Anderson is receiving a contract extension that will run through February 2026.
If approved by the Arizona Board of Regents on its Feb. 10-12 meeting, the 66-year-old Anderson will be extended from his current September 2022 expiration date and receive a base salary bonus of $150,000 to $950,000 annually.
He also is eligible for academic and performance bonuses capped at 100% of his base salary.
If Anderson, who has been at ASU since 2014, fulfills his entire contract, he will earn a $500,000 bonus.
Anderson recently removed his name from consideration for the upcoming Pac-12 commission vacancy, saying he wanted to remain at ASU.
