A Day In The Life Of Sun Devil Football

By Craig Morgan, thesundevils.com Writer

TEMPE, Ariz. -- It's 6 a.m. on Monday and Sun Devils receiver D.J. Foster is already in the training room, taped up and wearing a smile that dispels all stereotypes about college kids and early mornings.

A handful of players occupy the dozen or so training tables, getting deep tissues massages, trainer-guided stretching or other forms of treatment. As later-arriving teammates wait for counter space to get their ankles, arches, knees and wrists taped, Foster lounges on a nearby table, wearing a compression band on his thigh while his headphones play a tune only he can hear.
