STILLWATER, Okla.--- No. 31 ranked Patricija Spaka/Chelsea Fontenel were bested by No. 4 Alina Shcherbinina/Dana Guzman (Oklahoma), 6-0, 6-1, in the Round of 32 at the NCAA Doubles Championships on Tuesday afternoon at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
The loss officially ends the 2024 campaign for the Sun Devils after a 36th consecutive run to the NCAA Tournament and the first appearance of the duo of Spaka/Fontenel as it marked the third time in as many years that Spaka has made an appearance in the NCAA Doubles Championships.

After a first set in which the Sooners won 6-0, Spaka and Fontenel won the first game of the second set but went on to win the match in straight sets with a 6-1 victory in the second set.
