A 3-star recruit from Trinity High School in Euliss TX, Dimitri emerged as a highly decorated prospect, being unanimously named Offensive Player of the Year for Texas' 5A-District 6 as well as first-team All-Texas at running back, joining Cedric Benson as the only 5A players in Texas high school football history to rush for over 3,000 yards in their careers.
