NEW ORLEANS – No. 14 Arizona State Women's Golf, battling through tough weather conditions, was able to improve by seven strokes between days one and two of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate. The Sun Devils also moved up two places on the team leaderboard.

"We had a rough start today playing in very difficult conditions," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "We played in rain, 20 mph winds and mid-40 temperatures with wind chill, so we're struggling playing in rough weather. Having said that, we did improve upon yesterday's round by seven shots. Once this team starts believing they are capable of playing great golf, I believe great things will start happening.
