Matt Koch went six innings, and allowed four runs (one unearned, via ) on eight hits and a walk, while striking out three. Joey Krehbiel and Jimmy Sherfy each pitched a 1-2-3 inning, with Krehbiel striking out one and Sherfy striking out a pair.
Marty Herum got the Aces off to a 2-0 lead after the top of the second, thanks to a two run home run that scored Blake Swihart. With the Aces down 4-2, a pair of walks to Abraham Almonte and Matt Szczur.
