PHOENIX -- If you've watched the D-backs at all this spring, it's been hard not to notice infielder Ildemaro Vargas.
Offense, defense, baserunning -- you name it, and Vargas has impressed.
What has pleased D-backs manager Torey Lovullo most about the 25-year-old Venezuela native?
"His ability to play the game full speed without the fear of making a mistake," Lovullo said.
Vargas entered Thursday's game against the Brewers hitting .360 (9-for-25) with two homers, four RBIs and a 1.105 OPS.

"It's my motivation of playing in the big leagues, and the desire to be a good player," Vargas said.
