Not a ton of news regarding the Diamondbacks coming out of the break, but there’s a bit, starting with a little good news
“I’d been throwing a lot, working on stuff,” Bumgarner said. “I started long-tossing a little bit more, messing with that program. I tinker and dabble and try to find some things here and there mechanically, and maybe with the amount of throwing, I think maybe got a little carried away.”
He said he is going to try to be more conservative about the amount of throwing he does between starts.
