Arizona right-hander Luke Weaver lasted just four innings, giving up three runs on five hits and four walks. But the D-backs’ bullpen was excellent: Chris Devenski, Taylor Clarke, Caleb Smith (2-1), Kevin Ginkel and Stefan Crichton all pitched a scoreless inning.
Due to an agreement made between the county and the Arizona Diamondbacks in May of 2018, the team organization operates Chase Field and the surrounding land, turning the ballpark into private property.
Chase Field property is defined as most of the space from 4th to 7th Streets and Jefferson Street to Buchanan Street.
Arizona Diamondbacks president and CEO Derrick Hall said the organization is planning to help season ticket-holders get vaccinated.
