The Bóer Indians will have to do without Nicaraguan short stop Brandon Leyton (or Steven Leyton) after he did not receive permission from the Diamondbacks to participate in the Nicaraguan professional baseball league that starts in November. Leyton hit 0.264 in 41 games for the Hops and 0.159 in 33 games for the Cougars in 2019.
