The San Francisco Giants had to sit through all the hoopla and pomp and circumstance at Chase Field last Sunday, and now the Giants and the Arizona Diamondbacks will switch roles before first pitch on Monday afternoon.
The Giants open up their 2017 home slate at a ballpark that fills to capacity nearly every game. They complied the fourth best winning percentage at home among National League teams in 2016 (.556). Since 1958, the Giants are 37-22 in home openers, including 13-4 at AT&T Park.
The Giants have sold out the last 489 games at AT&T; expect today’s game to sell out.
