The hard fact is, only four teams have rallied from 3-1 down to win a World Series, so things do not look good for the Mets. Ironically, the last team to do it, were their opponents here, the Royals, who did exactly that to win their last World Series in 1985, However, on the other side, fewer World Series have ended in five games lately than any other number. Of the last 25 completed Fall Classics, going back to 1989 (there wasn't one in 1994, remember), only four have ended in five games (2000, 2006, 2008 and 2010).
