On the mound: LHP Patrick Corbin retired the first four batters he faced on Sunday to run his streak of consecutive outs recorded to 19. He retired 23 of 24 batters during the stretch until getting into a bit of a jam in the fourth against Cleveland. Austin Jackson hit a leadoff double down the right field line, Edwin Encarnacion drove him home with double to center and Yandy Diaz added a run-scoring single to give the Indians a 2-1 lead. “I got to two outs and I thought I made a good pitch to Edwin there, but it just caught the plate a little and he’s a very good hitter,” said Corbin, who allowed two runs in five innings.
