"Long," D-backs third baseman Jake Lamb said when asked to describe the trip. "It's good that we're going home. We obviously didn't finish up like we wanted to."

It didn't start out the way they wanted either.

After starting the season with a 6-1 homestand, the D-backs dropped two of three in San Francisco and the first two games against the Dodgers.

They rebounded to salvage a split with the Dodgers and won the first game of the Padres series before dropping the final two.

All and all it was a 4-6 record.
