The Off-season of the Living Dead shambles on. It has been over three months since the last move affecting the 40-man roster for Arizona, and we’re now a couple of weeks from pitchers and catchers reporting. At least, theoretically. In the favored line used by parents everywhere to demanding children: we’ll see about that. But while we wait for anything much to happen, I heard that shortstop Nick Ahmed and his wife Amanda have been taking part in a charity campaign to raise money and support for children who need it amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I figured it’s a cause which deserves a bit more coverage.
