Right-hander Zack Greinke will start on Opening Day for the D-backs, manager Torey Lovullo announced Wednesday.
It marks the second Opening Day assignment in a row for Greinke, who suffered a loss vs. the Rockies in last year's opener. Overall, he was 13-7 with a 4.37 ERA in 26 starts last season, his first with the D-backs.
Arizona opens its season April 2 against the Giants at Chase Field.
