Goldy's 2 jacks back Greinke in Colorado

Rockies rookie starter German Marquez (0-2), who on Sunday held the D-backs scoreless and fanned eight in six innings, paid for the four pitches left in the hot zones of Goldschmidt and Pollock. Marquez yielded five runs and five hits in six innings, with the only run support coming on Mark Reynolds' team-high ninth homer, off Greinke in the fourth.

The Rockies loaded the bases in the ninth and added a run on Pat Valaika's fielder's choice grounder, but Fernando Rodney earned his eighth save by working Charlie Blackmon into a flyout to right.
