Lamb homer ties it in the sixth
The Diamondbacks finally scratched across a run against Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler, who fired a 2-0 fastball over the plate and watched as Jake Lamb launched a solo homer to left-center field.
The home run, Lamb’s eighth of the year, tied the game at 1 in the bottom of the sixth.
The hit was the second of the night for Lamb, who continues to do serious damage against right-handed pitching.
