Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Gabriel Moreno ranked 10th on MLB Now’s Top 10 Catchers Right Now last night. The Gold Glove Award winner, who makes his debut on the ranking, finished one spot behind Cal Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners. On Tuesday’s countdown show, teammate Zac Gallen was ranked third on MLB Now’s Top 10 Starting Pitchers Right Now episode.
On last night’s countdown, All-Star catcher, MLB Network analyst and former Diamondbacks Alex Avila said, “I love Moreno. He quickly became the guy that I loved watching to catch, watching a whole game and seeing him behind the plate.
