Free agent pitcher Trevor Bauer will join the Los Angeles Dodgers, the reigning NL Cy Young winner announced Friday.
Bauer shared a video on his social media channels revealing his decision to sign with the World Series champions on a three-year deal worth $102 million with opt-outs after the first two seasons.
The contract pays him $40 million in 2021 and $45 million in 2021.
After a stellar shortened 2020 campaign with the Cincinnati Reds, the right-hander entered the free agent market as one of the most highly sought-after starters.
He led the NL in ERA (1.
