Jeff Passan is reporting that Eugenio Suarez has been dealt to the Seattle Mariners. As yet, there is no information on the return, but we expect to hear shortly on what the Diamondbacks will get in return. Suarez had a great season for Arizona, hitting 36 home-runs and with an OPS of .896. He was always expected to be the best hitter on the move at the trade deadline.
The move will also reunite Suarez with teammate Josh Naylor, who was dealt to the Mariners last week.
Update: Daniel Kramer of mlb.com reports, "Tyler Locklear and two pitching prospects are going back to Arizona in the Eugenio Suárez trade, according to a source.
