Right-hander Zack Godley’s highs have been especially high this year, but his lows have been just as low. Reflecting on his uneven year, Godley said his goal in the offseason is to figure out what he needs to do to keep his bad starts from spiraling out of the control the way they did this year.
“Most of my bad outings are bad innings more than anything else,” Godley said. “I think the main thing I have to do is figure out how to minimize that and how to make a four-run inning a one- or two-run inning, and be able to work off of that.
