Descalso extends lead
Diamondbacks second baseman Daniel Descalso hit a two-run home run to extend Arizona's lead to a 6-0 cushion over the Rockies at Chase Field.
Third baseman Jake Lamb led off the inning with a single and Descalso brought him home with a homer on a 2-2 count. The Diamondbacks held their six-run lead as play moved to the fourth inning.
