LOS ANGELES – The team bus pulled out of this city with its passengers in good spirits, a sense of accomplishment hanging in the air. The Diamondbacks played well on Monday night, rallying to split a four-game series. That might not sound like much, but for this team to leave Dodger Stadium with its record about where it was when it arrived arguably is cause for celebration.
The Diamondbacks bounced back not just from a series loss in San Francisco last week. They righted themselves not only after losing the first two games of this series. They also recovered from an early hole on Monday, took a late lead and then held onto it.
